Imphal: Boxing star MC Mary Kom has requested Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s intervention to ensure that security forces take steps to prevent infiltration of the two rival groups into Manipur’s Kom villages. In a letter written to Shah on Thursday, Mary Kom said that the Kom community is an indigenous tribe of Manipur and one of the least populated minority tribes.
