Matric-Inter copies will be examined from March 9 in Jharkhand

Ranchi: In Jharkhand, evaluation of Jack Board Matriculation and Inter answer sheets will start from March 9. Copies will be examined at 67 centers in the state. 36 centers have been made for checking copies of matriculation and 31 centers for intermediate. A meeting was held in the JAC office with all the regional Joint Deputy Directors of Education, the District Education Officer of the concerned district and the Center Director regarding the evaluation. JAC President Dr. Anil Mahato, Vice President Dr. Vinod Singh and Secretary SD Tigga and other officials participated in the meeting. In the meeting, examiners were instructed to evaluate 50 answer sheets in a day.

Entry of outsiders and unauthorized persons prohibited
Entry of outsiders and unauthorized persons into the evaluation center will be prohibited. The evaluation work will take place from 9 am to 5 pm. The examiner has been instructed to reach the center 15 minutes before the scheduled time. In the evaluation centres, no examiner or personnel except the center director will use mobile phones. The evaluation centers have been asked to return the answer book packets which have not been allotted to the concerned centre.

Principal Examiner will check 10 percent of the copies
The Principal Examiner will evaluate 10 percent of the copies examined by the Co-Examiner. The Principal Examiner will ensure error-free evaluation of the copies of the co-examiners and recording of correct marks on the marks file. If any question is missed by the co-examiner during evaluation, it will be evaluated by the principal examiner.

OMR Sheet Based Marks File
The format of marks file has been changed from this year. Marks file will be OMR sheet based. In the course of evaluation of answer sheets, if large number of cases of common answers or copying from the same source are found simultaneously, information about the same has been asked to be given to JACK.

Result will be released by the end of May
The evaluation of answer sheets has been asked to be completed by the end of this month. The result is likely to be released by the end of May. This year approximately eight lakh candidates appeared in the matriculation examination. Matric and Inter Science and Commerce results are likely to be released first.
