Microsoft will soon bring third party support for AI-powered Bing

San Francisco. Microsoft has announced that users will soon be able to experience artificial intelligence (AI) powered Bing in third party browsers on web and mobile.
“With many useful new features now a part of Bing, we’re excited to announce that you’ll soon be able to enjoy new AI in third-party browsers on web and mobile,” the tech giant said in a Microsoft Bing blogpost on Monday. Experience the -powered binge.
“This next step in the journey allows Bing to showcase the incredible value of Summarize Answers, image creation and more to a wider audience.”
While on one hand users will be able to use AI Bing in their favorite browser, the company has advised to use Bing in Microsoft Edge browser.
“With Edge, you’ll unlock longer conversations, chat history, and Bing features built directly into the browser.”
The tech giant first launched AI-powered Bing in February this year. Since then, over 1 billion chats and over 750 million images have been created using the service. The company said, “As excited as we are about the growth of the first six months, we are even more excited about what’s to come in the next six months!”
Last month, the company launched a ‘voice chat’ feature for Bing Chat on desktop, which allows users to speak to an AI chatbot by clicking on the microphone icon in the Bing chat box. The voice chat features currently support five languages - English, Japanese, French, German and Mandarin – with more languages coming soon.(IANS)
