He further said, ‘Many houses have been burnt. My home is in Manipur, currently I am in USA. Preparing for the upcoming World Championship and Asian Games. I am not in Manipur but still watching, wondering when this fight will end. I would like to appeal to our Prime Minister and Home Minister to fix the fight going on as soon as possible and save the people of Manipur and bring peace in Manipur as before, thank you.
Mirabai Chanu has won the Olympic medal
Mirabai Chanu won the silver medal in weightlifting in the women’s 49 kg category at the 2020 Olympics. Apart from this, she has won many medals in World Championships and Commonwealth Games. Mirabai Chanu has been awarded the Padma Shri Award by the Government of India. At the same time, he was also awarded the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award in 2018.
