After Hardik Pandya got injured in the fourth series match of the World Cup against Bangladesh, Shamicha was included in the playing eleven for the fifth match against New Zealand. Tyane would have taken 24 wickets in just seven overs. So he would have been the bowler taking the highest wicket in the 2023 ODI World Cup. Vikram Mahi, a special man or a competitive bowler, would have scored more than 5 wickets, otherwise he would have been the fastest to take 50 wickets in the World Cup.
Mohammed Shami has played 64 Tests, 101 ODIs and 23 T-20s for the Indian Cricket Association. He has 229 wickets in Test cricket, 195 wickets in ODI cricket and 24 wickets in T-20 cricket.
