Pudhari Online Desk : Mohammed Siraj : Team India’s fast bowler Mohammad Siraj has created a flutter. His explosive performance in the ODI series against New Zealand paid off handsomely and he grabbed the top spot in the ICC ODI rankings. He has left behind New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult and Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood.
Played second ODI three years after debut
Siraj made his ODI debut on 15 January 2019 against Australia in Adelaide. Did not get a single wicket in the match, as well as did not get a chance to play a single ODI for the next three years. Siraj played his second ODI in Karkirdi on 6 February 2022 after three years.
After this, Siraj performed brilliantly and did not look back. Siraj has played a total of 21 ODIs for Team India so far, in which he has taken 38 wickets at an average of 20.73. Alikdech Siraj played both the ODIs against New Zealand in three ODIs, in which he took 5 wickets. Otherwise he would have created panic by taking 9 wickets in the three ODIs against Sri Lanka.
