Mohammed Sabir, a research student at Allahabad University, and Abdul Qadir, a physical teacher at Kendriya Vidyalaya New Cantt, have been selected as National Technical Officers at the Khelo India Youth Games to be held from January 20 to 24 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Giving this information, Mohammad Sabir said that he is doing PhD under the direction of Professor Archana Chahal in the Department of Physical Education. He has been selected by the Squash Rackets Federation and Khelo India. Players from 19 states are participating in this tournament organized at the National Squash Academy in Chennai.
Mohammad Sabir told that his brother had offered him his first tournament as a referee in 2012 at the age of 19. Since 2012, he has refereed in more than 50 national level tournaments and the South Asian Games World Junior Squash Tournament. In 2020 he was selected as the Director Referee North Zone.
At the same time, Abdul Qadir has also been the former coach of Prayagraj and has been refereeing since 2011. Abdul Qadir is a Level One coach by the Asian Squash Federation and the World Squash Federation.
