Mohun Bagan defeated Mumbai City FC 2–1 to win their first ISL League Shield. Liston Colasso scored in the 28th minute and Jason Cummins scored in the 80th minute for Mohun Bagan. The only goal for Mumbai City FC was scored by Lalianjuala Chhangte in the 89th minute. This was Mohun Bagan’s first win over two-time winners Mumbai.

The win also secured Bagan a place in the AFC Champions League 2 for the first time. With this, the league stage matches are over and now there will be a playoff of six teams from April 19.
