More than 2,500 players will participate in the Jharkhand Inter Residential and Day-Boarding Training Center competition

Jharkhand State Inter Residential and Day Boarding Training Center Sports Competition will be organized in the capital Ranchi from 21 to 25 January. Training centers performing excellently in this competition will be considered for admission in residential training centers and players from residential training centers in Center of Excellence (Eklavya Kendra). About 2616 participants from the state will participate in this competition. Jharkhand’s Sports Director Sarojini Lakda gave this information.
Sarojini Lakda told that these competitions include the games of hockey, football, athletics, archery, volleyball and badminton. All the hockey competitions will be played at the Hockey Astroturf ground of Government Girls High School, Bariatu. While the rest of the competitions will be organized at Mega Sports Complex Khelgaon Hotwar. 1407 boys and 1209 girls players are participating in the competition.
792 boys and girls players of hockey, 594 boys and girls players of football, 525 boys and girls players of athletics, 304 boys and girls players of archery, 126 boys and girls players of volleyball and 275 players of badminton are to participate in this competition. Boys and girls players are coming to Ranchi. Arrangements for their stay and food and drink have been made by the Jharkhand government.
Sarojini Lakda told that the accommodation and food of the players have been arranged by the department. The boarding and lodging arrangements for the football and athletics teams have been made at the Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium in Mega Sports Complex, Khelgaon, Hotwar. The accommodation for boys’ hockey team has been arranged at Birsa Munda Football Stadium, Morhabadi and for girls at Jaipal Singh Hockey Stadium. The archery team will stay at Dr. Ramdayal Kala Bhavan Hotwar. Arrangements for the stay of badminton and volleyball teams have been made at the indoor stadium of Hotwar.
