The Cricket Committee of the MCC considers nominations of cricketers for Honorary Life Membership in recognition of the international careers of some of the legends of the game. Honorary Life Membership is also awarded to individuals who have made an extraordinary contribution to the MCC or to sport in general. Once approved by the MCC committee, invitation letters are sent to accepting players.
