In fact, in the World Athletics Championship 2023, Neeraj Chopra created history and won the gold medal. He has become the first Indian player to win gold medal in athletics championship. While Neeraj topped the podium, Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem finished second and won the silver. After the event, Neeraj spoke about how the men’s javelin throw final was watched. Same was the case in the World Athletics Championships where Neeraj won the final with a throw of 88.17m while Nadeem finished second with a throw of 87.82m.

Neeraj also said that he is very happy to see Arshad at the second place. Recognizing how far both India and Pakistan have come in that competition.
