NEET UG 2024: NTA will conduct medical entrance exam in these foreign cities

NEET UG 2024: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Medical (NEET-UG) will also be conducted on May 5 at examination centers in 14 foreign cities. National Testing Agency (NTA) announced this on Wednesday. This step has been taken after NTA received requests from candidates, as there was no mention of centers outside India for taking the exam in the information bulletin issued regarding the exam earlier this month.

NEET will conduct entrance exam in these foreign cities
NTA Senior Director (Examination) Sadhna Parashar said, “It has been decided that the examination will also be conducted in 14 foreign cities in 12 countries.” The 14 foreign cities where the examination will be conducted include Dubai, Abu Dhabi. , Sharjah (UAE), Kuwait City (Kuwait), Bangkok (Thailand), Colombo (Sri Lanka), Doha (Qatar), Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Lagos (Nigeria), Manama (Bahrain), Muscat (Oman) ), Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) and Singapore.
Students will have the opportunity to make these changes
NEET-UG exam will be conducted at 554 centers across India. Parashar said, “Candidates who have already selected centers in India and paid the fees without the option of foreign centers but wish to appear for the examination at centers outside India, should do so at the registration window. After the end of the service, there will be an opportunity to change the preferences of the Center and the country.
NEET-UG Bachelor of Medical Science and Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dentistry (BDS), Bachelor of Ayurveda, Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS) and Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS). There is an entrance examination for admission to other medical courses. The last date for submission of applications is March 9 while the result of the examination will be declared on June 14.
