New Zealand will go to Pakistan to play T20 series before the World Cup, see the schedule of the series – Dainik Savera Times

New Delhi: New Zealand cricket team will be seen playing T20 series against Pakistan very soon. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced this on Wednesday. The Kiwi team will be on a tour of Pakistan from April 14 to play a five-match T20 series. This series will be important for the preparations of both the teams ahead of the Men’s T20 World Cup to be held in USA and West Indies from June 1-29.

The New Zealand team will reach Islamabad on April 14 and will play three T20 matches at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi on April 18, 20 and 21. After this both the teams will go to Lahore, where they will play the remaining two matches. The matches of the series will be held at Gaddafi Stadium on 25 and 27 April respectively. The PCB said, ‘As a testament to the unbreakable camaraderie between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and New Zealand Cricket, we are pleased to present the schedule of the New Zealand men’s team’s 2024 tour of Pakistan.’

International Director Usman Wahla said, ‘Our passionate cricket fans and the people of Pakistan will welcome the New Zealand team back and we look forward to another competitive series which is an important part of our preparation for this year’s ICC T20 World Cup ‘ The Blackcaps’ upcoming tour will be their third trip to Pakistan in the last 17 months.

Earlier, he had traveled to Pakistan from December 2022 to January 2023 to participate in two Tests and three ODIs. While the Test series ended in a 0-0 draw, New Zealand then won the ODI series 2-1. He later traveled to Lahore, Rawalpindi and Karachi to participate in 10 white-ball matches in April the same year.

April 20- Second T20 match, Rawalpindi

21 April- Third T20 match, Rawalpindi
