New Delhi : JBM Electric Vehicles Private Limited, an auto company manufacturing electric vehicles in India, has introduced its all-electric city bus Ecolife and luxury coach Galaxy at the Bus World 2023 held in Brussels. This marks the grand entry of JBM Electric Vehicles into the European Union region with a range of products and solutions. The company said that JBM Group Chairman SK Arya and Vice Chairman Nishant Arya unveiled these two buses.

Features of Ecolife Bus

JBM’s electric bus is equipped with EcoLife fast charging lithium battery, plug-in charging system, traction motor and corrosion resistant ladder frame chassis. Along with this, every seat is equipped with a mobile charging socket. Any person sitting in the bus can stop the bus by pressing the stop request button when he reaches his stop. Along with this, like metro train and airplane, this bus is equipped with public announcement system and air conditioning system. The bus is also equipped with an attractively designed touch screen dashboard for the driver.

The Ecolife bus is provided with a lithium battery, which is charged through a fast plug-in charging system. Powered by fast-charging lithium batteries, the EcoLife can travel 125-150 kilometers (depending on city traffic conditions) on a single charge. JBM’s focus is to become a one-stop solution provider in the electric vehicle segment by providing complete ecosystem solutions for e-mobility i.e. electric buses, battery technology, charging infrastructure based on city operating patterns.

Security Features of Ecolife Bus

Talking about the security features of JBM Ecolife bus, it is equipped with live camera, centrally monitored system, emergency safe stop button and GPS-linked Passenger Information System (PIS). Along with this, this bus is also provided with fire extinguisher, electro pneumatic controlled entry doors, fire detection and suppression system, electronic braking system, emergency exit doors and large windows, which makes the journey of passengers easy and comfortable.

Features of JBM Galaxy Bus

Talking about the features of JBM Galaxy Bus, it is fitted with a tail pipe, which produces zero emissions. Along with this, electricity is also saved in it. Additionally, it features modular battery packs for different routes, CCS2 DC fast charging system to charge the battery, high voltage Lithium NMC battery with thermal management system, permanent magnet synchronous motor with more torque and power to enhance performance. BMS and VCU logic are fitted for the latter and regenerative braking system for more kilometer range.
