Tilak has not played a single ODI for India and it is unlikely that he will get a chance to play against Pakistan.
India, on the other hand, retained Suryakumar Yadav despite a poor performance in the ODIs, while bringing back the likes of Krishna and Jasprit Bumrah, who shone after returning from injuries in the tour of Ireland. Indian players are undergoing fitness and skill training at a special preparatory camp in Alur near Bengaluru. KL Rahul was seen batting at the nets on Friday while Ishan Kishan, who has been impressive as a wicket-keeper batsman, was working on his skills with fielding coach T Dileep. It remains to be seen who will be dropped from the provisional ODI squad as India do not have enough competitive matches to give players a chance to stake their claim.
