According to the report of ESPN Cricinfo, ODI World Cup 2023 can start only from 5 October. And the final match can be played on November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. India would have won the 2011 World Cup title. Team India’s goal is to win the 2023 World Cup.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has selected about 12 cities for the tournament. These include Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Dharamshala, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Indore, Rajkot, Mumbai or cities. Or 46 days in total 48 will appear in the competition. The BCCI has not yet decided any specific venue or cities for the practice sessions.
The ICC would have announced the World Cup schedule at least a year in advance. BCCI is also waiting for necessary approval from Government of India. In this it is necessary to get Pakistan Sanghala tax suit and visa approval. India and Pakistan have not played a bilateral series since 2012–13.
