Ola Electric unveils e-motorcycle, to be launched in 2024

New Delhi : Ola Electric has unveiled its electric motorcycle concepts, which will hit the market in the near future. Ola on Tuesday launched a Cruiser, Adventure, Roadster and Supersport concept. About this, the company says that it will enter production in 2024. The electric motorcycles have been designed and developed in India and will be built at the manufacturer’s Ola Future factory in Tamil Nadu.
Ola Electric Cruiser
First up is the Electric Cruiser concept from Ola Electric, which promises a power cruiser design and stance. It looks inspired from a certain Ducati Diavel. The electric motorcycle looks futuristic with its aerodynamic-efficient panels as well as a TFT screen for the instrument console, USD front forks and a monoshock at the rear. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels.

The next step is a motorcycle concept from Ola. The Ola Adventure Tourer looks similar in size to the 400-500 cc ADV. The motorcycle stands out with its Dakar-inspired front with LED DRLs, gold-finish USD front forks, monoshock at the rear, spoke wheels and a chain drive. The bike also gets knuckle guards, TFT screen and a bigger battery in place of the fuel tank.

Ola Electric has also unveiled a roadster concept, which flaunts an aggressive streetfighter design. The Ola Roadster looks dashing with its LED DRLs, sharp styled panel and split seats with split grab rails. The roadster also gets wider handlebars. The Ola Roadster was the only concept that was showcased on stage, proving that it was not just a design concept.
Aiming to disrupt the super segment
Ola aims to disrupt the supersport segment with its new Diamondhead concept. The electric motorcycle concept brings a revolutionary new shape to full-faired motorcycles, with the entire bodywork hiding the mechanics on the electric motorcycle. The design seems to be inspired by the diamond shape and the ergonomics are dedicated with clip-on handlebar and rear-set footpegs.

Bhavish Agarwal, co-founder and CEO of Ola Electric, said that the upcoming offering will get the most powerful electric motor on a motorcycle in India when launched, while the battery packs will also be bigger than what Ola has seen on electric scooters so far. The company promises a host of features on all four models, while parts-sharing with Ola’s electric scooter range will be minimal. The company says that most of the new parts for the electric motorcycle lineup have been developed from scratch.

Power and range figures are a secret for now and will be revealed once the production model is revealed. Ola Electric promises that each of these bikes will be a segment leader when they go on sale. Details on pricing will also be available then.
The teaser was released in February
Let us tell you that Ola Electric had released the teaser of five new motorcycles in February this year itself. The company had said that Ola Electric will launch electric bikes in 5 different segments in the coming time, which will be in the Scrambler, Naked, Cruiser, Cafe Racer and Adventure Tourer segments. Along with good looks and features, powerful batteries will be seen in these.
There was a plan to bring two motorcycles
However, before this, Ola Electric had announced to bring two electric motorcycles, one for the premium segment and one for the budget electric bike. Now the company has said about bringing 5 new electric bikes and in their teaser video it is known that many special things including LED DRL will be seen in these e-motorcycles with futuristic design. These motorcycles are currently in their initial stages.
