Satendra Singh Lohia (Para swimmer): Hailing from a small village in Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh, Lohia was not a victim of any disability in his childhood but after a fortnight he became 70 percent disabled in both his legs. Despite this, he was part of the Indian relay team that crossed the English Channel with a new record in 2018. He said, “I cannot express my feelings in words.” If a person like me from a small village can work hard and the government respects him, then anyone is capable of achieving anything.” Purnima Mahato (Archery Coach): Purnima, a resident of Jamshedpur, has been a coach since 1994. .
She was the coach of the Indian recurve team in three consecutive Olympics 2008, 2012 and 2016. Gaurav Khanna (Para Badminton Coach): Former national player Khanna is credited with grooming the country’s best para badminton players like Pramod Bhagat, Parul Parmar, Palak Kohli and Manoj Kumar.
