He won the first game for India with two more crushing blows. The Indian pair was successful in continuing the momentum achieved at the end of the first game in the second game. After taking a 5-2 lead, he showed excellent control at the net and took an 11-6 lead at the break. Even after a short break, the Indian pair did not give any chance to the Indonesian players and maintained their dominance with the score of 17-10.

After this, there was a long rally of 48 shots between the two pairs which was won by Indonesia with an amazing smash by Martin.
