In fact, according to NPCI, fintech firm Paytm’s parent company One 97 Communications has been given permission to continue third party UPI transaction service. To continue the UPI service, a third application permit was approved for Paytm in collaboration with SBI, Axis Bank, Yes Bank and HDFC Bank.
Meanwhile, Paytm has told its customers that after March 15, Paytm App, Soundbox and card machines will continue to work as before. The digital transaction company has also released a FAQ to answer the questions that arise in the minds of its customers. Paytm is issuing an official statement that users and merchants should keep in mind that the Paytm app is working and will continue to work even after March 15, 2024.
