New Delhi (Uttam Hindu News): PM Modi can also reach Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad to watch the exciting match between India vs Australia. News18 CricketNext reports that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to be the chief guest. Besides, Team India’s World Cup winning captain MS Dhoni and Kapil Dev are also likely to grace the match.

Sachin Tendulkar, who has been a regular participant in India’s matches in this World Cup, is also expected to be present in the stands for the title match. Apart from prominent politicians, former cricketers and families of current players, the entire top leadership of BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) and ICC (International Cricket Council) will grace the event. Additionally, representatives of various state associations will also be present in Ahmedabad on the occasion, the report said.

Till now there has been no official confirmation regarding the Australian PM. According to media reports, the Indian government has sent an invitation to Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to watch the World Cup match between India vs Australia. Not only this, the Deputy PM of Australia has also been invited and it is believed that both of them will come to Ahmedabad to watch the match.

Australia will face India in the final of the World Cup 2023 after defeating South Africa by three wickets in the second semi-final at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday. There will be a trophy battle between India and Australia on Sunday, November 19.
