Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday congratulated India’s medal winners in the Asian Games. Indian shooters won many medals on Friday. Congratulating Palak Gulia on winning the gold medal in the women’s 10 meter air pistol event, Modi said that her accuracy and ‘focus’ have made our country very proud.
“Another special moment for India in shooting,” he said on ‘X’. Palak and Isha Singh produced historic performances to win gold and silver medals respectively in the women’s 10m air pistol event at the Asian Games. The Prime Minister also praised Isha Singh.
He said, “His success in the Asian Games has been due to his commitment, rigorous training and unwavering determination.” India won the gold medal in the men’s 50 meter rifle 3 positions with a world record.
The trio of Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar (591), Swapnil Kusale (591) and Akhil Sheoran (587) scored 1769. “They have shown extraordinary determination and teamwork,” Modi wrote.
Congratulating Divya Thadigol, Isha Singh and Palak for winning silver medals in the women’s 10 meter air pistol team event, the Prime Minister said that their success will inspire many upcoming sportspersons.
Ramkumar Ramanathan and Saketh Myneni won the silver medal in the tennis men’s doubles event. Congratulating them, the Prime Minister wrote, “Their extraordinary teamwork has amazed us all. My best wishes for his future endeavours.
In another post, the Prime Minister said he was proud of Aishwarya Pratap Singh’s silver medal. He said, “Congratulations to her for her exceptional performance in the 50m Rifle Men 3P.” stay blazed.
