Prithvi Shaw: Sapna Gill, who was involved in a street brawl with Prithvi Shaw, was arrested for selfie

Mumbai: Sapna Gill, who came into limelight due to selfie controversy with Indian cricket team’s opener batsman Prithvi Shaw, has been arrested. Sapna has been arrested by the Oshiwara police. After the arrest, Sapna’s medical was also done and there is news that she will be produced in the court on February 17. A dispute has come to the fore between Sapna and Prithvi over a selfie, after which one of their videos has also gone viral on social media. In this video, Sapna is heard accusing Prithvi Shaw of assault.

However, in the FIR lodged by Prithvi Shaw, a total of 8 people were named out of which only Sapna has been arrested. All of them are accused of vandalism with assault and extortion of 50 thousand to get the case cleared.

What is coming out in this whole matter is that Prithvi Shaw along with some of his friends were taken for dinner at a restaurant in Santacruz. Just then a female fan named Sapna approaches him along with her friend near his table and demands a selfie from him.

Prithvi gave selfie to both of them but they were continuously taking videos and photos on which Prithvi stopped them but they did not agree. On this, he called the owner of the restaurant and asked him not to do so. After this the staff and manager there threw out Sapna Gill and her partner. The matter has calmed down here but as soon as Prithvi came out of the restaurant with his friends, Sapna and some of her other friends were waiting for them there and the matter escalated from there.

In the viral video, it can be seen that a scuffle is taking place between Sapna and Prithvi. During this, Prithvi is seen stopping Sapna and both are holding baseball bats. When Prithvi and his friends came out of the restaurant after having dinner, he was riding in his friend Ashish’s car. While waiting outside the restaurant, Sapna and her friend broke the glass of the car. Prithvi Shaw’s friend has told this in his complaint to the police.
