India’s two-time Olympic medalist PV Sindhu gave her best performance after losing the first game and entered the semi-finals of the women’s singles of the Arctic Open Super 500 badminton tournament by defeating Thuy Linh Nguyen of Vietnam in a 91-minute battle.

In the other semi-finals of the women’s singles, China’s third seed and world number nine Han Yu will face Thailand’s Pornpawee Chochuwong. Sindhu is now the only Indian player left in this tournament.
