Prannoy and Sen have also won titles this season. Prannoy reached three quarter-finals and won the Malaysia Masters Super 500 title. He had already beaten world number one Viktor Axelsen in the semi-finals in Japan but missed the deciding game. Sen gave a tough fight to world number nine Jonathan Christie this week. Prannoy will face Hong Kong’s Lee Chiuk Yew while Canada Open winner Sen will take on China’s Lu Guang Tzu.
