rahul dravid not support hardik pandya like ashish nehra parthiv patel questions on role as t20 coach

This decision of the BCCI proved to be wrong when under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya, India has become an attacker after losing two consecutive matches against a small team like Windies. Everyone is cursing by finding mistakes. Hardik is on target after back-to-back defeats at the hands of the 7th-ranked West Indies and one more loss could make him the first Indian captain in 17 years to lose a bilateral series to the West Indies.
Hardik Pandya is not getting support like Ashish Nehra from Rahul Dravid
Hardik’s captaincy has been justified for the loss in the match. However, former India wicket-keeper Parthiv Patel while talking to Cricbuzz analyzed some of the recent mistakes under Hardik’s captaincy. Why has Hardik’s performance as India captain not been as impressive as his two seasons with Gujarat? On this question, Parthiv believes that the support he is getting from coach Rahul Dravid is in complete contrast to his coach Ashish Nehra in GT.
Parthiv Patel raised questions on Dravid’s coaching qualification.
Dravid’s former India teammate Parthiv also raised concerns and questioned Dravid’s ability as T20 coach. He said- There are some examples regarding the captaincy of Hardik Pandya in which serious mistakes have been made. The first was giving the over to Axar Patel in the first game when Nicholas Pooran came out to bat. Hardik Pandya has been brilliant with Captain GT but he was supported by Ashish Nehra at Gujarat Titans. But is Rahul Dravid the dynamic coach or person we are looking for in the T20 format. I do not think so. In my mind, we need someone who is proactive. Talking on Cricbuzz, Parthiv said – Hardik Pandya has that fire, but he needs that support, which Rahul Dravid cannot give me.
Parthiv told that Hardik failed to understand the game in the second T20 match
After a narrow 4-run defeat in the first T20, India could not defend 12 runs in the last 2 overs against West Indies’ tailenders. Yuzvendra Chahal had taken 2 wickets in the 16th over, it was a wrong decision by Hardik not to give him the fourth over. Mukesh Kumar bowled the last over and put West Indies ahead 2-0 in just five balls. Parthiv also believes that keeping Chahal for the last over cost India the match.
