Ravi Shastri: Will Virat, Rohit and Pujara be off? Ravi Shastri has given master plan to win WTC

Shastri believes that this is the right time when some young players are given a chance, who can also take the place of experienced players. He also asked the Indian team management and selectors to make some ‘difficult decisions’.
He said, ‘Think-tanks and selectors have to plan keeping in mind the future. Australia has been doing this for many years. They make the team not just of today but of the next three years. They don’t wait for some players to suddenly retire or get in bad form and they are left with no other option.
He said, ‘Their team has a mix of youth and experience. The young players there learn fast from the experienced players. The team management there also takes tough decisions, which are not liked by many, but are in the best interest of the team. That’s why his team is so strong. India will also have to make the same plan.
Captain Rohit also seems to agree with Shastri’s words somewhere. He said in the post match conference after the final, ‘We have to find answers to some questions. There are many players in domestic cricket who are doing well. He just needs to find, carve and give the right opportunity at the right time.
