Rohit and Jadeja centuries, India strong

Rajkot. With brilliant centuries by captain Rohit Sharma (131) and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja (110 not out) and a brilliant half-century of 62 runs by Sarfaraz Khan in his debut match, India reached 326 for five at stumps on Thursday, the first day of the third Test against England. Made a strong score of runs.
India had a bad start after winning the toss in the morning and batting first and lost three wickets while reaching 33 runs. After this, Rohit and Jadeja took over the innings and made a partnership of 204 runs for the fourth wicket. Jadeja then added 77 runs with Sarfaraz for the fifth wicket in which Sarfaraz contributed 62 runs.
First Rohit and then Jadeja’s century was taking India towards a big score. Sarfaraz also played an amazing innings on his debut match but he was unfortunately run out. Jadeja was on 99 and called for completing the century but then Sarfaraz stopped him. Sarfaraz could not return to the crease and was run out on a direct throw from Mark Wood. Seeing Sarfaraz out like this, Rohit was very angry in the pavilion, he threw his cap hard on the ground.
Jadeja completed his century by taking a run on the next ball of James Anderson. Jadeja celebrated his century the way he does.
Rohit hit 13 fours and three sixes in his century of 196 balls while Jadeja played 212 balls for his unbeaten 110 runs and hit nine fours and two sixes in his innings. Sarfaraz hit nine fours and one six in 66 balls. Kuldeep Yadav was at the crease with Jadeja after scoring one run till the stumps.
