Star cricketer and Indian men’s team captain Rohit Sharma has joined as the brand ambassador of Jio Cinema, said a Jio Cinema official. We will continue to enhance our offerings and ensure that digital streaming provides an innovative and one-of-a-kind experience to our millions of viewers.
Jio Cinema will soon come up with a promo and ad campaign with Rohit Sharma. Jio Cinemas and Mumbai Indians are both owned by the Reliance Group.
Jio Cinema holds the digital rights, and Star Sports holds the TV rights. Both are running high-octane marketing campaigns regarding IPL. They are trying hard to attract the maximum attention of both the viewers and the advertisers.
Jio Cinema has signed names like Sachin Tendulkar, Suryakumar Yadav, MS Dhoni and Smriti Mandhana as its ambassadors.
