According to the official website of Royal Enfield, the Kaza Brown paint scheme of the Himalayan 450 has seen the biggest increase of Rs 16,000. This model will now be available for Rs 2.85 lakh instead of Rs 2.69 lakh. Along with this, the company has also increased the price of slate blue and red color models of Himalayan 450 by about Rs 15,000. Now the price of both these models is Rs. It will become Rs 2.89 lakh. Similarly, the prices of Comet White and Hanley Black have been increased by Rs 14,000. With this increase, the price of Comet White has now reached Rs 2.93 lakh and the price of top-end Hanley Black has reached Rs 2.98 lakh. The Kaza Brown paint scheme model of Himalayan 450 is in high demand in the market. This is why Royal Enfield has decided to increase its price by Rs 16,000.

The Himalayan 450 bike has a 450 cc liquid-cooled, single cylinder ‘Shepra’ engine, which generates power of 40.02 PS at 8000 rpm and torque of 40 Nm at 5500 rpm. Along with the engine, it is provided with 6-speed gearbox and slip and assist clutch. The curb weight of this bike is 196 kg, while its fuel tank capacity is 17 liters.

This adventure bike has 43 mm inverted fork at the front and monoshock suspension with linkage at the rear. For braking, it has been provided with 320 mm disc brake with 2 piston calliper at the front and 270 mm disc brake with 1 piston calliper at the rear. For riding, this bike has 90/90-21 Seat Grip RE F tires at the front and 140/80-17 Seat Grip Red Steel RE tires at the rear.

The Himalayan 450 motorcycle has features like 4-inch round TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity, Google Maps integrated navigation, switchable ABS, ride-by-wire and 2 riding modes (Performance and Eco). In the adventure tourer segment in the market, the Himalayan 450 motorcycle will compete with the KTM 390 Adventure and the upcoming Hero XPulse 400.
