Cairo. Defending world champion Rudranksh Patil continued India’s dominance by winning the gold medal in the men’s 10m air rifle event at the ISSF Shooting World Cup here on Tuesday. India has now won four medals including three gold in the competition. World No. 1 Rudranksh defeated Germany’s Maximilian Ulbricht 16-8 in the gold medal match. Rudranksh had also topped the ranking round with a score of 262.0 while Ulbricht shot 260.6. Earlier, Rudranksh had qualified for the ranking round by finishing seventh in the qualification round with a score of 629.3.

Varun Tomar, who won a bronze in the individual event on Sunday, then teamed up with Rhythm Sangwan to win the gold in the 10m air pistol mixed team event.
