Actually, like his fellow cricketers, Khabbu opener batsman Saeed Anwar has also started giving religious speeches after retirement. In the viral video, he is seen saying, ‘He is the Indian Prime Minister, he put down the mike for Azaan. The devil ran away from the Hindu too.’ Even before this, a statement of his had come to the fore in which he was seen saying, ‘I pray daily for Mr. Modi that he gets instructions. How was the cricketing career
Saeed Anwar was a left-handed batsman who played for the Pakistani team between 1989 and 2003. Used to do slow left arm orthodox bowling too. Born in Karachi on 6 September 1968, Saeed’s record of 194 runs in ODIs remained unbroken for a long time. Anwar broke the record of Richards (189) by scoring 194 against India on 21 May 1997 in Chennai. This record remained in his name for 12 years and nine months. Twelve years later, he was equaled by Zimbabwe’s Charles Coventry (194 not out) on 16 August 2009. Anwar scored 11 and 20 centuries in 55 Tests and 247 ODIs respectively for Pakistan.
