Brij Bhushan has consistently said that after the completion of his tenure as WFI President, he has nothing to do with wrestling. Brij Bhushan’s confidant Sanjay Singh was elected president in the elections held in December but the WFI was suspended for violating its own constitution by announcing the dates of age group national competitions at very short notice within three days of taking charge.
