Sam Curran can’t do what he wants to do: Simon Doull

New Delhi. Former New Zealand cricketer Simon Doull believes that Punjab Kings (PBKS) fast bowler Sam Curran failed to perform well under pressure against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL 2023. He said that the England all-rounder’s strategy of bowling the slower ball did not yield good results.

The former New Zealand cricketer believes that Karan will not be kept as an all-rounder. He insisted that Curran’s main responsibility for Punjab was to perform well with the ball, but he has not been able to do that so far.

He is giving away more than 10 runs for the season. The team bought him as a bowler who can also bat. You are not buying Sam Curran as an all-rounder.
