Satwik-Chirag achieve career best rank

Kuala Lumpur (Best Hindu News): Indian men’s doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty on Tuesday achieved a career-best fourth position in the world rankings.
According to the latest rankings of the World Badminton Association, Satwik-Chirag have reached the fourth position with 74,651 points, one place above their previous best (fifth position).
Satwik-Chirag improved their rankings by winning the gold medal at the Badminton Asia Championships in April. After missing out on the Malaysia Masters last week, the Indian pair will be back on court through the Thailand Open Super 500 tournament.
The Thailand Open will be her first tournament in the qualification period for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Meanwhile, Indian shuttler H.S. Prannoy climbed one place to reach his career-best eighth rank. Prannoy remains India’s highest-ranked shuttler in men’s singles. He is followed by Kidambi Srikanth, who was ranked 17th after making it to the semi-finals in the same event. The third Indian shuttler in the top 30 is Lakshya Sen (23rd).
