However, in the men’s singles, Lakshya Sen’s campaign ended after he lost to reigning world champion Kunlavut Vitidsarn of Thailand. Kunlawut won the semi-finals 20-22, 21-13, 21-11 in a match that lasted one hour and 18 minutes. Satwik and Chirag dominated the match between the world’s two best pairs from the beginning and avenged their defeat in the India Open earlier this year.
After easily winning the first game against the current world champion pair, Satwik and Chirag did not give the Korean pair a chance to make a comeback in the second game also.
