New Delhi. Australia ended their innings for 263 runs on the first day against India in the second Test match being played here at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Bowler Mohammad Shami took 4 wickets.
By the tea break, Australia had scored 199 runs at the loss of six wickets. After the break, the Indian bowlers once again outplayed the Australian batsmen to finish the innings. Cummins was on 23 and Peter was on 36 before the break.
Peter completed his half-century while batting brilliantly. At the same time, Cummins was out LBW in the dodging bowler Ravindra Jadeja’s over. During this he scored 33 runs in 59 balls.
