Senior Women’s ODI Trophy: Two semi-final matches were played on Sunday in the ongoing Senior Women’s One Day Trophy cricket at Ranchi’s JSCA International Cricket Stadium. In the first in which Railways defeated Uttarakhand by 17 runs. In the second match, Karnataka defeated Rajasthan by 57 runs. The final match between the two teams will be played on February 7.
Railway team reached the final after defeating Uttarakhand
In the first semi-final played on Sunday, the Railway team scored 224 runs for eight wickets in 50 overs while batting first. In this, Renuka Chowdhary scored 101 runs, Mona scored 134, D Hemlata scored 85 and Swagita Rath scored 31 runs. For Uttarakhand, Mansi Joshi took three wickets, Reena Jindal two and Ekta Bisht and Pooja took one wicket each. Karnataka beat Rajasthan
Batting first in the second semi-final, Karnataka scored 256 runs for eight wickets in 50 overs. In this, Vrinda played a brilliant inning of 81 runs. Apart from these, Divya scored 71, Shishira scored 32 and Veda scored 37 runs. Bhavna took three wickets, Sonal took two and Suman took one wicket from Rajasthan. From Karnataka, Sahana took four wickets, Shreyanka and Monika took two wickets each and Pushpa took one wicket.
