He had posted on Twitter and Instagram showing his displeasure over this decision. Along with this, one demerit point has also been given to Gill.
Shubman Gill was found to have breached Article 2.7 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Support Staff. It pertains to making public criticism or inappropriate remarks in relation to an incident occurring in an international match.
