Sony Sports launches the biggest Asian sports campaign – Dainik Savera Times

New Delhi: Sony Sports Network, the official broadcaster of the Asian Games, has launched the grandest campaign in the history of the Asian Games in India ahead of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022. Sony Sports Network has received support from Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur and the three service chiefs along with Defense Staff Lieutenant General Anil Chauhan and an impressive lineup of influential personalities.

To ensure that the message of ‘This time hundred par, again, we will overcome’ resonates in every corner of India. It is clear from this strategy that a united India, cheering with one voice, can inspire its athletes to unprecedented heights. The 19th Asian Games will see Indian cricket teams participating in the Asian Games for the first time, with Ruturaj Gaikwad men’s and Smriti Mandhana leading the Indian women’s team.

Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra will be one of India’s top medal hopes in javelin throw, while in badminton, PV Sindhu, HS Prannoy and the doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty are strong contenders for the title. Apart from these, runners, archers, Indian rugby, hockey and football teams, swimmers, bridge and chess teams will also compete to be included in the medal tally.
