Neymar ready to join Saudi Arabian team Al Hilal for big money

Saudi Arabia’s domestic football franchise Al Hilal on Monday agreed a transfer fee of reportedly 90 million euros (Rs 8.16 billion or about $100 million) with Paris Saint-Germain for Brazilian legend Neymar. After agreeing to this huge amount of Al Hilal, Neymar’s going to Saudi Pro League is almost certain. The fee would be a record for a league backed by the oil-rich country to spend on top-level football talent.

Al Hilal are finally ready to sign the deal in Riyadh to match city rivals Al Nassr. Al Nasser wooed Cristiano Ronaldo in January. Neymar has reportedly been offered a two-year contract. During this, the 31-year-old player is expected to get an annual salary of around US$ 100 million. This would be almost half of the reported salary of 38-year-old Ronaldo.
