Heinrich Klaasen fined 10 percent of match fee
Sunrisers Hyderabad wicket-keeper batsman Heinrich Klaasen has been fined 10 per cent of his match fee for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during the match. Klaasen admitted a Level 1 offense under Article 2.7 of the IPL Code of Conduct relating to the use of public criticism/inappropriate comment. Actually, Heinrich Klaasen had argued with the umpire during his innings in a no-ball case, due to which the match referee has fined him.
Klaasen also said after the match that the umpiring during the match was not good. He said, ‘To be honest, the audience was disappointed. You don’t want that. This spoiled my batting rhythm. Umpiring was also not good.
BCCI reprimanded Amit Mishra
Apart from this, veteran spinner Amit Mishra of Lucknow Super Giants has also been reprimanded for violating the IPL code of conduct. Amit Mishra admitted a Level 1 offense under Article 2.2 which deals with misuse of equipment during a match. Actually, Amit Mishra was about to throw the ball up in the air after taking the wicket and bowled wicket of Sunrisers Hyderabad batsman Anmolpreet Singh, but he angrily changed his mind and slammed the ball on the pitch towards the batsman. Because of this, BCCI has reprimanded Amit Mishra. Amit Mishra has also accepted his mistake.
