Sri Lanka tops WTC points table after victory over Bangladesh

Sylhet. Sri Lanka has taken a big lead in the latest ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 points table after their impressive win against Bangladesh in the first Test on Monday.
In their first Test match at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Sri Lanka defeated Bangladesh by a huge margin of 328 runs. The win took Sri Lanka straight from the bottom of the WTC table to joint sixth place with Bangladesh.
According to the ICC report, Sri Lanka is ahead of South Africa (25 percent) and England (17.50 percent) with 12 points and 33.33 points percentage from three matches.
Sri Lanka were at the bottom with 0 points while Bangladesh were at fourth position with 12 points and a points percentage of 50 after two matches.
Pakistan has moved up one place to number 4 with a percentage of 36.66 points. While West Indies, who share the same points percentage with Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, have moved up to No. 5 with a higher points percentage of 16.
