Stuart Broad returns to top-10 in ICC Test rankings ahead of Ashes

Dubai. England pacer Stuart Broad improved his rankings following his six-wicket haul in the one-off Test against Ireland and is back in the top 10 in the latest Test bowling rankings released by the International Cricket Council on Wednesday.
With figures of 5/51 and 1/62 in two innings in the Test against Ireland, Broad jumped two places to reach 10th position with 744 rating points ahead of the Ashes. Teammates James Anderson, who is second with 850 rating points, and Ollie Robinson (seventh, 777 points) join the top 10.
Meanwhile, England batsman Harry Brook has moved up one place to 18th, Ollie Pope has moved up 10 places to 23rd and Ben Duckett has jumped eight places to 34th, having scored the only ODI against Ireland at Lord’s. Have made substantial gains after the Test.
Brook scored 56 and 12 not out in England’s 10-wicket victory. Pope won the player of the match award for his first innings knock of 205, while Duckett reaped dividends for his innings of 182.

For Ireland, Andy McBrine broke into the top 100 after scoring an unbeaten 86 in the second innings, while Mark Adair has jumped 32 places to reach 105th position.
