Super Giants will aim to reach the top with a win

Lucknow (Best Hindu News): KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants will take revenge against defending champions Gujarat Titans at their home ground on Saturday with the intention of occupying the top position in the points table of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

A decrease in the temperature of Lucknow is being recorded due to cloud cover in the sky and light drizzle in the surrounding areas. When both the teams will face each other on Saturday afternoon at 3.30 pm, the pleasant weather will appeal to them, while the enthusiasm of the supporters of Super Giants will create heat in the ground.

The current season so far has been full of ups and downs for the Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans. The team will try to forget the previous defeat and once again bring the Super Giants to their knees. Along with Rashid Khan, Hardik himself can prove to be effective on the slow pitch of Ikana, while the fast bowling attack led by Mohammed Shami will also test the Rahul Brigade.

Lucknow and Gujarat have lost two matches so far. While Lucknow won against Rajasthan Royals in the last match, Gujarat flew to Lucknow after losing to the same team. Apart from Ravi Vishnoi, Amit Mishra, Krunal Pandya has proved effective so far in Ikana and the captain’s hopes will rest on this trio, while the fast bowling of fast bowler Avesh Khan, Mark Wood will test the Gujarat batsmen. Apart from this, if Naveen-ul-Haq, who showed excellent bowling in the last match, is able to repeat his performance, then it will be a bonus for the team.

On the other hand, Gujarat can get the benefit of being in the form of Shubman Gill, David Miller and Sai Sudarshan, while Padya will have high hopes from Rashid Khan and Mohammed Shami, although Pandya himself has been ineffective in terms of bowling so far. Apart from this, the performance of Alzarri Joseph and Josh Little has also been average.
