In Darbhanga, Bihar, the Vigilance Department team took a major action on Wednesday and arrested two officials of the Electricity Department red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 40 thousand. The arrested officers include Executive Engineer Ajit Kumar and Clerk Rinku Kumari.
Surveillance arrested red handed
According to the information, the monitoring department had received a complaint that Executive Engineer Ajit Kumar was demanding bribe for doing departmental work. After the complaint, the surveillance team laid a trap and reached the spot on Wednesday and arrested both of them red handed.

During this action, Deputy SP Pawan Kumar and Deputy SP Rita Sinha, Deputy SP Abhijeet Kaur, Inspector Sanjeev Kumar, Inspector Mithlesh Kumar Jaiswal from the surveillance department were involved.
Vigilance also arrested the bank employee
Earlier, while taking another action in Darbhanga, the surveillance team arrested Central Bank of India Dharampur branch manager Guddu Rajak red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs 30,000. Guddu Rajak is accused of taking bribe for giving loan under NABARD sponsored scheme. In both the cases, the team of the surveillance department is interrogating the accused and carrying out further investigation.
