During this period, he will have to pay Rs 500 crore every year to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and a total of Rs 2500 crore in five years. Tata Group acquired the sponsorship rights through a special condition, because Aditya Birla Group had also bid Rs 2500 crore.

Clash between Tata Group and Aditya Birla

There was competition between Tata Group and Aditya Birla Group. It was reported in the report that Tata gave a deal of Rs 2500 crore to the board for five years. After this the board has decided to give title sponsorship to Tata Group. An official announcement and seal on this is awaited.

It is noteworthy that Tata had won these rights from Vivo in 2022. Meanwhile, Dream 11 also got the rights of title sponsor of IPL for one season. Earlier it was also called Pepsi IPL in 2008. But now for the next five years people will be seen calling it Tata IPL.
