IND vs ENG: Bumrah returns to the team

Jasprit Bumrah has returned in the fifth test. Bumrah was rested in the fourth test match played in Ranchi. But he has returned to the team in the fifth test. His return has strengthened the team. Now he will join the team in Dharamshala for the 5th Test. Bumrah has taken 17 wickets in three matches so far in this series.

IND vs ENG: Sunil Gavaskar is the Indian who scored the most runs in the test series.

Let us tell you, the great batsman Gavaskar is the Indian batsman who has scored the most runs in any one bilateral test series. While playing in the debut Test series against West Indies in 1971, Gavaskar scored a record 774 runs (4 centuries and three half-centuries including a double century) in 4 Test matches. At that time Gavaskar’s average was 154.80. This is still the Indian record for scoring most runs in a Test series.

IND vs ENG: Yashasvi has hit sixes in test

In the current Test series being played with England, Yashasvi has so far scored 655 runs in eight innings, which included two double centuries and two half-centuries. During this period, Yashasvi’s average has been 93.57. Yashasvi has hit 63 fours and 23 sixes in the current series. In this way, if Yashasvi scores 120 runs in the remaining two innings, he will become the Indian batsman who has scored the most runs in a bilateral Test series.

Rohit is the second Indian to hit 81 sixes in 100 innings of 58 Tests so far. Whereas Virender Sehwag has hit the maximum number of 91 sixes for India in Tests. If Rohit hits 11 sixes in the Dharamshala Test, he will break Sehwag’s record. Let us tell you that the record of hitting most sixes in overall Test career is in the name of England captain Ben Stokes. So far he has hit 128 sixes in 183 innings of 101 matches.
