The exterior design of the XUV300 is expected to be inspired by Mahindra’s born electric lineup (XUVE8 and E9) of SUVs. Mahindra’s new range of electric cars is expected to go on sale in 2025. The Mahindra XUV300 facelift is expected to get a new looking LED DRL with a drop-down design. Like the bumper, the headlights will also be redesigned. The front grille is expected to be a split unit for an SUV-like look. The side profile of the SUV is expected to retain the same design language as the current edition. Mahindra can introduce updated alloy wheels for the SUV. Talking about its rear, the SUV will offer a newly designed tailgate, bumper and tail lamp.

Mahindra XUV300 facelift has been spotted several times testing on Indian roads. Now this car has come very close to its production model. The price of the new Mahindra XUV300 facelift can start from Rs 9 lakh ex-showroom. This will be a five seater car, in which five passengers will be able to sit easily.

Mahindra XUV300 engine and transmission

Mahindra may continue to offer petrol and diesel engine options of the existing model in the new XUV300. Currently, the XUV300 car is available in 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine (110 PS/200 Nm) and 1.5-litre diesel engine (117 PS/300 Nm) options. With both these engines, it is provided with 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT gearbox options. The current XUV300 also has the option of T-GDI (turbo petrol engine), with which only a 6-speed manual gearbox is available. It is estimated that the company can replace the AMT gearbox found in the current model of XUV300 with a torque converter.

Features and competition of Mahindra XUV300

Features like large floating touchscreen infotainment system, full digital driver display, wireless phone charger, dual zone climate control, cruise control and ventilated front seats can be provided in Mahindra XUV300 car. For safety, it can be provided with features like six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), rearview camera, rear parking sensor and 360-degree camera. It will compete with Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite.
