Bengaluru. On March 25, when the whole of India was immersed in the colors of Holi, Virat Kohli also played Runo Holi. Kohli led his team to a spectacular victory in another match while chasing the target against Punjab Kings at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. While chasing the target, Kohli looks different and the same happened in this match also. Even though Kohli was not on the field when his team won, he had already put his team in a good position before he was out. Kohli played an inning of 77 runs in 49 balls which included 11 fours and two sixes.

After the match was over, Kohli also spoke openly on many things in the presentation ceremony. Kohli gets a lot of love from RCB fans and he has a lot of fans especially in Bengaluru. Kohli, who has been playing for the same franchise since the first season, also talked about the love he receives from the fans. He said, this has been going on for years and when you play a match, people say many things. Achievements, statistics and numbers. When you look back, you won’t think about statistics or numbers. You’ll think about the memories you’ll make. Rahul Bhai also talks the same thing in the dressing room these days. When you play you give it your all because you will miss being with your friends in the dressing room and playing with the fans.

So this relationship that has been built over the years is something I will never forget. The amount of love, encouragement and support I have received over the years has been amazing.

After being named Player of the Match, Kohli said that I was disappointed that I could not finish the match. The ball was in my court. However, returning to the tournament after two months of playing like this is not a bad start. In T20 cricket, as I am opening here, I want to give a good start to the team. However, if the wicket falls from the other end then you also have to understand the circumstances. This was not a natural wicket for Bengaluru. It had double bounce. I thought I have to play good cricketing shots. Playing across the line was not working well as I tried a little.

Kohli had lofted cover drives against Kagiso Rabada and Arshdeep Singh. Regarding this he said that he knew that I play cover drive well, so he was not going to give me the freedom to play in the gap. People like Rabada or Arshdeep who have good length and are hitting good lengths, then you have to create a little momentum towards the ball.
